INTRAMURALS '08-09

november 24,2008 is the set date for the INTRAMURALS 2008 but i don't think everyone's excited. aside from the fact that we used to have our intrams' every September, the venue also sucks. err. yes, i am proud of my school ground. it is where i learn and excel more. yeah, it is a school ground, not a sports ground. we do have basketball courts. one in the quadrangle and the other one in the gym. yet, who would want to cheer for their players under the heat of the sun? who would want to play in a closed area?
.........................................
truly i say, i fear that my last intrams' in school will be the worst intrams' ever, so as with my fellow seniors.
hey! enough of the dilemma. here's what cleared out every senior's piece of quandary. after the parade, i proceeded to our classroom to check on the cheerdancers. everyone was quite doing their own thing. some are putting their colorettes on. some are having their hair done. some are tying their shoe-laces and some are practicing their routine.
part of the cheerdance gimmick is to set-free some birds in the sky but we were then told that a part of the criteria says, "no using of live animals". so by that, we decided not to use the birds anymore for us not to be disqualified. after that busy moment, we formed a big circle, bowed down our heads in prayer and expressed our intercession one by one. it was started by our adviser followed by mrs. quisel, our economics teacher, the spotters, the 29 cheerdancers and their trainor, yours truly and lastly mr ebol, the physics teacher of the NSEC sections of the 4th yr level. after that, we shouted and growled as loud as we can as a sign of having power and team work.
then we were positioned in the contest proper. we saw the JUNiORS performing. they were good, honestly speaking. followed by them were the sophomores so-called the growling tigers. they were pretty cool. and then tah-dah, the SENiORS.... at first, i was having the fear that they possibly wont make it. the voice of the trainor popped into my mind with the words "guys, pag ma-perfect ang stunts siguradong panalo na tayo. ang stunts.. ang stunts..." then while i was watching, i saw that they've got firm stunts. the flyers were confident and they didn't lack poise. all of a sudden, the sound system blew off! bullsh*t! and knowing the reason behind that, i was a lot more upset! the BSN couldnt wait for their turn in the cheerdance so they accidentally "kuno" unplugged the sound system and plugged in their laptop for their music. grr! the SENiORS were asked to perform again. this time i was more scared that they would freak-out. fortunately, they came out to be the best.. people screaming, here and there. wow!
nonetheless, the cheerdancers made it to the second performance and bagged the CHAMPION TITLE. weee. GO BLUE, GO WHITE, GO SENIORS, SENIORS FIGHT!
SENIORS, GO FOR GOLD!

XOXO,

TiM
