week of peace

since we are celebrating the week of peace, here's one of the universal prayer i made in substitute of the Harmony Prayer. something i did for our CL project. i decided to share it so people would be inspired to generate peace. :)

VOW OF PEACE

O Lord, most gracious, most merciful,

giver of life, a life so blissful,

with your bouyant spirit embracing us,

we have come to know our purpose.

Now that we are in a world full of shamble,

we pray that our beings would be humble.

humble enough for us to ponder,

on the worldy occupations that brought us danger.

purify our hearts, minds and souls,

for us to alienate ourselves against all false.

help us to regenerate peace.

so we can live life at ease.

Lord, today, we wish to repeal war and conflicts.

we ask for your guidance

so that we can work for your will in accordance.

we pray for forgiveness

so that we may remit.

Let us be one in dialogue
and make us one although diverse in culture.
give us , O Lord, the hope and courage

so that we may perfectly fulfill the vow of peace.
